Cursors
The pointer in a NextDemo video is drawn, not captured — it never jiggles, never wanders, and lands exactly where it should. That makes it an actor you can direct. This clip runs its whole wardrobe.
What it covers
- The default — a plain arrow, and every click lands a soft ripple (its color and reach are yours to set).
- Scale — one multiplier sizes the whole pointer, for dense screens or small players.
- Context — it reads your app on its own: a hand over links, an i-beam over text, a grabbing hand carrying a drag, a scroll indicator riding a scroll. Nobody scripts this.
- Presets — the desktop set, or the touch circle: the default on a phone, usable anywhere.
- Your own image — cast any image in the role, and choose which point of it does the clicking.
- Hidden — when no hand belongs in the shot, the pointer leaves the stage.
Say it like
- "Make the cursor almost twice as big."
- "Use the touch cursor for this one — it's a mobile story."
- "Use our logo as the cursor; the triangle's tip is the click point."
- "Give clicks a bigger, cyan ripple."
- "Hide the cursor for this scene."
