Hand the agent your brand

One good-looking take is easy. A library of videos that all read as yours is a different job — and the shortcut is to stop making the agent guess. Point it at your branding materials, and every script it writes starts from your colors, your logo, your type, your voice.

Why it works

The agent writes the recording script, and the script decides far more than clicks: the background behind your window, the title cards, the watermark riding the zoom, the words the voiceover says. Without materials it fills those slots with defaults — safe colors, generic type, nobody's voice. With your assets in reach the guessing stops. Backgrounds come from your palette. Title cards set in your typeface. The watermark is your actual mark, not an approximation of it.

The second win is stability. Same inputs, same look — record a demo today and a changelog clip in three months, and they still read as one product. A brand kit the agent reads on every session beats a description it half-remembers from the last one.

What to hand over

  • Logo — SVG if you have one; it scales clean into overlays and title cards.
  • Colors — hex values, or point at the design tokens already in your CSS.
  • Fonts — the families you use for display and body, with files if they're not system fonts.
  • Voice — a tone doc if one exists; otherwise two or three posts or pages that sound like you.

A brand/ folder in your repo beats a paragraph in chat — the agent can read it before every take, and so can you.

Teach it your patterns

The brand kit covers how videos look. House rules cover everything else you'd otherwise repeat: "end every video with this outro clip", "posts for X start from this slides template", "captions lowercase, no exclamation marks". Say a rule once and have the agent write it into the file it reads at the start of every session — CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md, whatever your agent uses. From then on it's a default, not a request.

No brand kit yet?

Ask the agent to build one with you. It will interview you — who the videos are for, three adjectives, the colors you already own, what to avoid — and write the answers down as the kit. Twenty minutes of questions buys every future video a head start.

Make it the default

Do this once and you never brief the brand again: tell the agent to write the rule into the file it reads at the start of every session.

"Add a note to CLAUDE.md: always use the brand kit in brand/ for every NextDemo recording."

Now the kit isn't something you remember to mention — it's a standing order in CLAUDE.md or AGENTS.md, applied to every take from here on. You ask for a demo; it comes back on-brand without being told.
